A devised text-based solo performance by non performer
The London-based singer, has just released her début single I was less than amazing, on One At a Time, There Are So Many record label. A ‘proper’ album is to be released soon. With enigmatically ethereal vocals she demonstrates the breadth of her interests. Her music is, yes, very self-aware, very meta, but it’s also beautifully crafted. It really is catchy as hell, and you can actually dance to it.

I’m concerned with the abuse of words and images.
I question if my work is merely a susceptibility to emotion.

Becky Fury is a comic performance artist, spoken word artiste, poet and performer. Her work has been showcased at various arts festivals, literary events and occasionally police cells. It is her great pleasure to be performing in a toilet as part of steakhouse live.
